Not too long ago, wallpaper had fallen out of favor among discerning design fans. The decorative wall covering had been seen as stuffy, maybe even a little tacky. Well, no longer. In October, we headed over to Brooklyn to check out Calico Wallpaper—whose large-scale marbleized designs blur the boundaries between decor and art. Now, Flavor Paper—another Brooklyn-based wallpaper and fabric manufacturer, known for its cheeky, bold designs—has teamed up with the Andy Warhol Foundation to release the Andy Warhol Collection just in time for the studio's ten-year anniversary. Flowers: “My favorite smell is the first smell of spring in NY.” – Andy Warhol Paying tribute to the iconic Pop Artist, the Andy Warhol x Flavor Paper Collection features nine interpretations of Warhol's works—from his memorable Queen Elizabeth II motif to lesser-known artworks stored deep in the vaults.
